Love and Hate

Why do we love?

Why do we hate?

Do we know the difference?

Can we distinguish each trait?

How are they different?

Are they the same?

Are we sure that glory,

Is different from shame?

Do we strive for salvation?

Or simply flee from damnation?

Is destruction the sin?

Or does it lie in creation?

Is a hatred for one,

Just a love for the other?

Such a question, rarely asked,

In conversation, is smothered.

Should it be answered?

The truth ever revealed?

Would we gain a glorious, new choice?
