Prayer to Conquer Fear Fear, the shadows’ weapon, Slayer of hope’s light, Dreams, it loves to prey upon, Causing prayers to soon take flight, They rise into the great beyond, A realm of eternal being, The place where angels wings are donned, A sanctuary for prayers a’ fleeing, The message, now, has been sent, Of salvation from fear requested, And for the price of that breath once spent, That person’s fear, God has already bested. |
