Gaming

What do I do apart from school and web design?  I play MANY video games!  For those of you who consider this a waste of time, you may visit the other areas of my site, for the rest of the NORMAL people please read on for some awesome gaming goodness!

My first serious gaming started when I got my first Nintendo (the original 8-bit machine!), progressed to a Super Nintendo, and then rocketed into the realm of the Personal Computer.  My friends ask me why I play so many games, yet don't have a Playstation or a Nintendo 64.  The reason is that while those two platforms are nice and have many games, the PC has a lot more benefits.  For example; you can upgrade, customize, patch, play online, etc on a PC.

Note to all players of Final Fantasy 7 who own video cards that have Rendition chipsets::  Installing the latest patch will make the game run accelerated, but with no movies.  Selecting the box labeled "NVIDIA Riva" may give you acceleration AND movies!  It worked for me!
